For the past six years, Eric has been given the opportunity to paint images of Fantasy—having escaped being a freelance illustrator in Advertising.
Eric’s work has been featured in Spectrum 17, 18 ,19 and 21 and Infected by Art 2 and 3. In October 2011, his painting "Fantasy Feast" was part of the "Breath of Embers" show at the Nucleus Gallery in California. In 2012, this same painting was nominated for a Chesley Award (unpublished category). Other shows with Nucleus Gallery include “A Saga in the Stars: A Tribute to a Galaxy Far, Far Away” (May 2013) and “Out of the Shire: A tribute exhibition to Middle-Earth”( Nov. 2013). In August 2015, Eric participated in Jonathan Levine Gallery's Infra:REAL The Art of Imaginative Realism. He has also done work for Wizards of the Coast (Magic the Gathering).
Eric’s painting techniques were featured in “Fantasy Illustrator” presented by ImagineFX and in the December 2013 ImagineFX issue (#102). He also shares his working thoughts in “Sketching from the Imagination” published by 3dtotal. With over 30 years of painting experience, Eric sells his work most notably to private collectors and is thankful to be a part of the Fantasy Genre.
