JEREMY WILSON was born in 1986 in Manhattan, New York, and since his mid teens has been interested in illustration and fine art. Wilson studied fine art at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Old Lyme, Connecticut. His interests range from romanticized history to horror illustration. Strange fantasy, unsettling horror, and eerie folklore are the subjects Wilson is devoted to. His images create a mystery, which allows not just a first glance and impression, but a lasting image.
Jeremy’s client list includes Square Enix, Wizards of the Coast, Gallery Nucleus, Cryptozoic Entertainment LLC, Lightspeed Magazine, ArtOrder, and AnyWho Editions.
He has most recently exhibited at Gallery Nucleus; in the IX 6 and 7 Main Show, as well as in the IX 8 Weekend Salon at the Allentown Art Museum; and at the Society of Illustrators for the Spectrum exhibit in 2014.
His image "Thin Blue Line" was awarded a Gold in Editorial for Society of Illustrators West 54. His images have been included in Spectrum 20, 21, Infected by Art 2, and the ARC Salon 2013.
He has been granted a Masters Equivalency for Virginia Commonwealth University, where he currently works as a professor.
Wilson’s paintings are internationally owned and collected.
The artist currently lives and works in Richmond, Virginia.
